The beautiful Glulam beam on the vaulted ceiling draws the eye towards the breathtaking views, tying the natural surroundings into the interior's neutral, natural colour palette.

Transformation of a 1970’s house to a modern property in a highly desirable location.
This project being the second owner-occupier project with this client.

“This has been our second owner-occupier project with Berryman Construction, having undertaken our previous new build project at Perranworthal in 2014/15.
Yet again, Ollie and his team exceeded our expectations. This time they transformed a tired and old-fashioned 1970’s bungalow into a beautiful modern house, incorporating a magnificent double-height rear extension and a loft conversion with a dormer window and balcony, creating a master bedroom and large bathroom; together with re-roofing of integral garage plus substantial internal alterations. The comprehensive renovation and new construction have included up-to-date, highly efficient, and sustainable energy systems that combine solar panels, battery storage, and an air-source heat pump, alongside high-performing insulation materials. Modern, contemporary finishes have created a stunning forever home. This has been complemented by significant external works, including two patios, Cornish stone walling and some landscaping.
Ollie engaged superbly and seamlessly with us on the design, as well as on the use of best-value materials with our desired quality and performance in mind, alongside budgetary considerations. The whole project was delivered on time, within budget and to an outstanding quality. The entire team, including subcontractors, were very skilled, worked extremely hard and were always polite and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.
