Whitewings
Falmouth, Cornwall
2024
Working with architects at Studio Gather on this residential new build, we completed an energy-efficient, sustainable Passivhaus, producing 20kWh per square metre per annum, thus demonstrating that design and eco-consciousness go hand in hand.
This design was 3D modelled to enable precise material ordering, and its dismantling was planned for recycling. Built on a brownfield site, the project’s existing planting enhances biodiversity with a carefully designed landscape. This is a home that works with nature and its surroundings, not against it.

“Berryman Construction built us a stunning contemporary home that meets Passivhaus standards. We had a vision of creating a sustainable home using reclaimed and recycled materials to minimise waste and maximise energy efficiency - and Berryman Construction brought it to life beautifully.
Ollie and his team were fantastic to work with - efficient, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality craftsmanship. Ollie and Amy collaborated closely with us, our architect, and our QS, keeping everything on track with regular budget reviews and timeline checks. Thanks to their dedication, the project was completed on time and within budget.
The final result speaks for itself - our home is everything we hoped for. The entire team, including the subcontractors, were highly skilled and incredibly knowledgeable about Passivhaus construction. We couldn’t be happier!”
